Brief Bio from Author Nicola    

 I am an author, creative writing tutor and photographer, but used to be an actor and scriptwriter. I live in Suffolk, UK, with my musician husband and a plethora of rescued/feral cats. I came to writing prose late in life and love to write in more than one genre. I enjoy experimenting with language and the visual image, often combining the two to create unusual stories that hopefully entertain and give pause for thought.

 I have two YA dystopian/sci-fi books published by Fable Press, called - The Song of Forgetfulness, and have self published a collection of adult tales called - Glimmer and other stories. I won The Suffolk Book League Short Story Award in 2011 with Glimmer, and was shortlisted for the Escalator genre fiction award in 2012 with Echoes from the Lost Ones, book 1 in the series The Song of Forgetfulness. I have just completed a middle grade action adventure novel called - Marauders of the Missing Mummies.
